The #IAm Project aspires to build a mentoring network for self-identifying women of color pursuing a collegiate education in STEM. The establishment of a healthy, sustainable environment is critical for female scientists, techies, engineers, & mathematicians to thrive in spaces not originally meant for them. This scholarship is a $1,000 one-time, non-renewable award.
Must graduate in May of 2020 from Westwood High School in Mesa, Arizona
Plan to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year college/university in the U.S. during the 2020-2021 academic year
Plan on pursuing a collegiate degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, & mathematics), including but not limited to: computer science, chemistry, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, biology, etc
